D8A Recovery About Page - Blue Circuit Board

About

Hello, My name is Joe. I have been working on PCs for about 10 years now. Over the years I have learned a great deal of ways to recover and repair damaged or corrupted hard drives without physically tampering with the drive parts.

In my experience, only 15% of the damaged hard drives I have seen are physically damaged and would require special clean rooms and expensive equipment to recover the data. About 85% of Hard Drives that I have encountered are not physically damaged and can be repaired without disassembling the actual hard drive.

What I DO and DON'T Do

There are 3 different types of damaged hard drives:

1. Logical Corruption (Errors)

  • Sectors on the drive are corrupted and/or
  • File System is damaged and/or
  • Operating System files are damaged

2. Electronic Failure

  • Hard Drive control board is damaged

3. Mechanical Failure

  • One or more physical components within the casing of the hard drive are damaged (i.e. Scrached Platter, Damaged Head, Failed Pre-Amp, etc...)

I DO recover files from a hard drive with Logical Errors. I DON'T repair hard drives with Electronic or Mechanical failures. The main benefit to the services I provide is that I come to you and perform the repairs where you are.

Why I Do What I Do

It is a great feeling to see the look on one of my client's face when they realize that they did not lose any of their data. In fact in most cases I am able to restore the entire Operating System as if no damage ever occurred while preserving all of the files and programs.
